Forthcoming Event: The Trust is organising a Seminar - "Making Water Do More for the Hotel Industry", on August 18, 2018, at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium (Near Goa University), Goa. The Seminar is supported by AAHAR WAYS and sponsored by FHSAI - Food & Hospitality Support Association of India as well as T&S Brass and Bronze Works, Inc., USA.

The Seminar is part of the "AAHAR WAYS EXPO", which runs from August 17-19, 2018 at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium (Near Goa University), Goa.

Environmental concerns are raising their ugly head everywhere. Despite receiving heavy rains, Goa is facing acute water shortages. Establishments and residents have to resort to bore wells for their daily needs of water. Saline water is gradually seeping inland. Agricultural productivity & the tourism industry may have to bear its unfortunate impact. It's time to stop wastage of all resources. The days of Linear Economy are over. The "Circular Economy" has to kick in. Sustainable Management of Resources is the crying need of the hour. "Recycling" is the most natural principle of Nature. We need to go back to Nature and adopt recycling.

The Seminar aims to sensitize hotels and other major users of water & natural resources, to quit the Linear Economy and adopt "Circular Economy / Green Practices", offering ideas to overcome / mitigate this problem.
